About Michael Zink

Michael is responsible for exploring emerging technologies to enhance Warner’s storytelling capabilities across different platforms. His work includes assessing the latest technologies, developing innovative experiences, and integrating new solutions into creative production workflows. Michael started with Warner Brothers in 2014, and he is the first representative of the content creation community to join us on the Display Show. Prior to joining Warner, he was at Technicolor Incorporated for over ten years, where among other roles he was Vice President of Technology Strategy. Earlier in his career, Michael worked for several media production facilities in Germany. In addition to his VP role at Warner, Michael is also President and Chairman of the UHD Alliance, and as of this year he is Education Vice President at the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, or SMPTE for short. Michael is a SMPTE Fellow and a major influencer within and around the creative community.
