Today, we’re speaking with Dr. Euan Smith, who comes to us from the UK. Dr. Smith is a technologist specializing in photonics, displays, imaging, algorithms, and web technologies. He has over 20 years’ experience in these industries and is an author on over 160 patents covering everything from OLED driving, optics, image processing, and touch technologies. Euan and Brian are fellow experts on the IEC displays standardization committee, TC110. Dr. Smith is the lead author of a Distinguished Paper being presented this week at SID 2020, paper 50.2. It is a landmark publication related to the evaluation of electronic display color capability.
