UChicago: Incoming UChicago President Paul Alivisatos accepts Priestley Medal

Nanosys co-founder, Dr. Paul Alivisatos, has been awarded with the Priestley Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the American Chemical Society. His research and contribution for nanocrystals has helped pave the way for those within the industry. Dr. Alivisatos’ ground breaking work has brought brighter and more colorful displays to consumers around the world. Congratulations, Paul!

In its citation, the organization noted Alivisatos’ “foundational contributions to the chemistry of nanoscience, development of nanocrystals as nanotechnology building blocks and leadership in the chemistry and nanoscience communities.”
