Tech & Biz Visits Nanosys at Display Week 2024

The Tech n Biz team visited Nanosys’ booth at the recent SID Display Week event in San Jose, CA.

According to Tech n Biz (original article in Japanese here), at the SID Display Week exhibition, Nanosys and parent company Shoei Chemical demonstrated the versatility of QD technology in display applications. Nanosys, founded in 2001 and now a division of Japan’s Shoei Chemical Industry, showcased QD’s ability to enhance LCD color gamuts, QD-OLED displays, and cost-effective xQDEF diffusion plates. The booth attracted significant attention, especially with demonstrations of QD’s superior response speed compared to phosphor materials, earning a “People’s Choice Award” for best metrology demo.
