“For starters, you could tell immediately that the S95C was significantly brighter than the S95B. This applies to both peak and, actually especially, full-screen bright image content. Samsung Electronics is claiming a 20% brightness increase over the S95Bs, and my own feeling from just how obvious the difference was with real-world content (a combination of 4K Blu-ray sequences from the recent Matrix reboot and Spears & Munsil’s legendary HDR nature-based test footage) is that far from being an over-estimate, this 20% figure could actually be slightly conservative.”
